Child Support Commissioner

Tehama Superior Court is pleased to announce that Nick Boening has been selected to serve as the Child Support Commissioner for the Superior Courts of Colusa, Glenn, Plumas, and Tehama counties. Mr. Boening will begin to serve in this role on Monday, October 27, 2025. 

Mr. Boening has served as Assistant County Counsel and Deputy County Counsel in the Glenn County Counsel's Office since December 2018. Prior to that, he served as Deputy District Attorney in the Tulare County District Attorney's Office and served as a Volunteer Deputy District Attorney in Marin County. Mr. Boening received his bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University and then his Juris Doctorate from University of California, Davis School of Law. 

Mr. Boening fills the vacancy left by the Honorable Ruby S. Neumann who was appointed to the Butte County Superior Court by Governor Gavin Newsom on August 7th, 2025.
